Are you ready for a brand new giveaway? Everyone who preorders the first book in my new Viking age fantasy duology from any retail outlet (local bookstore, chain bookstores, online, digital, audiobook) is eligible to enter the Children of Ragnarok PREORDER GIVEAWAY.

The grand prize is

1. A first edition hardcover set of the Shattered Realms series, signed and personalized

2. A set of four genuine 9th century Viking hnefatafle (chess) game pieces with Certificate of Authenticity. (See my Substack post Gamepieces of the Gods.

These artifacts were purchased from an antiques dealer in Ukraine, with proceeds to benefit relief efforts. (Did you know that the Rus, or Vikings, settled in large parts of Ukraine?)

3. Bookmarks, swag, a signed bookplate,  temporary tattoo, and other goodies

But, wait, there's more! The first one hundred entrants will receive a swag pack including a signed bookplate for their copy of Children of Ragnarok, bookmarks, tattoos, and other goodies. However, you must OPT IN and include your mailing address.

Here's how to enter:

1. PLEASE follow these directions. I'm not very good at following directions, either, but I need your help in order to get you properly entered because I don't have minions.

2. Send an email to cwchimapromo at gmail dot com. In the subject line, put RAGNAROK PREORDER GIVEAWAY ENTRY

3. In the body of your email, include your name and snail mail address  and how/if you would like your books to be personalized.

4. Make sure I have the best email to contact you

5. THIS IS IMPORTANT: Attach an image of proof of purchase for your preordered book, whether it's an online receipt, a receipt from a store, an email confirmation of an order, a notarized statement from your local bookseller--whatever way you can show me you've placed an order.

6. Books must have been ordered/bought before November 15, 2022  (in other words, by the release week.)

7. Deadline for entry: November 22, 2022
